What if we could come together, even one day a year, to show the power of our connections? At Walk MS, our connections become more powerful than the connections MS destroys.
Walk MS connects people living with MS and those who care about them. It is an experience unlike any other - a day to come together, to celebrate the progress we've made and to show the power of our connections.
When you participate in Walk MS, the funds you raise give hope to the more than 6,300 people living with MS in Alabama and Mississippi. The dollars raised support life-changing programs and cutting-edge research. Every connection counts.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT and participate in our annual Walk MS: Huntsville event on May 3, 2014 at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and the Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. Walk MS is the rallying point of the MS movement, a community coming together to celebrate hope for the future.
Participants can enjoy the park and participate in a 1, 2 or 3 mile walking route. Not interested in walking but want to be a part of the day? Come celebrate with us by being a VOLUNTEER or VIRTUAL WALKER! Walk MS is a celebration and we want everyone there! Register now, connect with others and start fundraising today.
Walk MS is a rain or shine event – in the event of predicted rain we will provide information about the rain plan via phone call or e-mail so be sure to include the correct information when registering.
Please arrive early to check-in, spend time with your teammates and enjoy the pre-event announcements and warm-up. Refreshments will be provided but feel free to bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy.
Looking for ways to make the event even more fun for your team? Create a TEAM T-SHIRT, set up a TEAM TENT in our Team Tent Village, hold a Community Event to raise money for your team prior to the walk and come up with a creative TEAM NAME.

**Fundraising awards will be based on fundraising totals tallied on June 13th**

WHERE DO I TURN IN FUNDRAISING?
Cash and checks can be turned in before and after the walk by mailing to the chapter office (801 Shades Creek Parkway, Suite 100B - Birmingham, AL 35209) or turned in on the day of the walk at the check-in/registration area. Additional pledge drop-offs in your area may be available.
Please ask that all checks be made payable to 'The National Multiple Sclerosis Society' or NMSS. Please write the participant name or team name and your walk site in memo line to receive credit for prizes/recognition.
Receipt books, pledge envelopes and donation tracking sheets available upon request.
